The Olympian Holobeam Array came online for the first time a few hours ago, only to immediately suffer a mysterious and catastrophic power surge. The engineering staff restored power and communications soon after, but not before The Program caught wind of the event. A team has been hastily assembled, and instructed to investigate the facility under the guise of a Department of Energy emergency inspection.
